Delegation conveys the condolence message of Mirwaiz e Kashmir to bereaved family
Anjuman-e-Auqaf Jamia Masjid Srinagar expressed deep sorrow and shock over the demise of Mufti Qutb Alam Naqshbandi, a renowned religious scholar and leading Sufi and spiritual leader from Gotli Bagh, Ganderbal.
After hearing the news of the death of the late Mufti Qutub Alam Naqshbandi, a high level delegation of Anjuman-e-Auqaf on the instructions of Mirwaiz Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Omar Farooq, who has been under house arrest for the last one and half years went to Gutli Bagh, they expressed their heartfelt condolences and sympathy with the only son of the late Mufti Sahab and other members of the Naqshbandi family.
Addressing the condolence meet on Maulana MS Rehman Shams conveyed the message of condolence from the imprisoned Mirwaiz Kashmir to the bereaved family and on behalf of Anjuman-e-Auqaf paid rich tributes to the famous religious and spiritual leader. Paying homage to Mufti Qutb, he termed the death of the world as the scholar as death of the world.
He said that Mufti Qutb Alam and his family had long-standing religious ties with Mirwaiz family of Kashmir and Mufti Qutb Alam has a very compassionate and loving relationship with the late Mirwaiz Dr Maulvi Muhammad Omar Farooq. On the occasion he also prayed Allah SWT to grant the forgiveness and bestow paradise to the deceased soul.
