A CRPF man was injured in a grenade attack in Bijbehara town of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday, officials said.
They said that the militants lobbed a grenade at the force near Bijbehara hospital, leaving a trooper wounded. “The injured was shifted to SDH Bijbehara where his condition is stated to be stable,” an official told news agency .
He identified the injured CRPF man as Patil Parmakar of 40 BN CRPF.
He said that the entire area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation launched to track down the attackers. ( KNO )
