The J&K Awami forum president Farooq Ahmed Ganie visited North Kashmir’s Kupwara on Tuesday to strengthen its roots and to file its candidates for upcoming BDC elections.
During interaction with various members of Awami Forum at Lolab Kupwara and from constituencies, J&K Awami forum president Farooq Ahmed Ganie congratulated Awami forum members for their work and strengthening Awami forum at grass root levels.
“We are committed to make clean sweep in BDC elections in Kupwara as Awami forum members in Kupwara and every worker has made strenuous efforts at ground level and people in Kupwara are happy to see new party which caters to their needs” said Awami forum president Farooq Ahmed Ganie.
He further added that people are fed with Dynasty rule and want to see a change after decades.
District President Awami forum Ghulam Hassan Dar from Chandigam Lolab Kupwara briefed President Farooq Ahmed Ganie about various issues faced by Kupwara.
District president Awami forum Kupwara Ghulam Hassan Dar claimed that they were neglected by earlier Government and no developmental work has been done in Kupwara. He further added that Kupwara can be hub of tourism but due to negligence of earlier Government, people are still living in Dark Age.
While BDC elections are approaching near and J&K Awami forum has left no stone unturned to make a clean sweep in upcoming BDC elections in every corner of Jammu Kashmir.
“We have already done a good homework for upcoming elections in South Kashmir too and coming BDC elections will witness huge participation of people in South Kashmir” said Awami forum General secretary, Ravinder Singh.
He further added the people of South Kashmir are peace loving and are ready to be part of upcoming BDC elections.
