J&K Students Association here today expressed gratitude to External Affairs Ministry and J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for their personal intervention and efforts in resolving issue of Kashmiri Professors who were stranded in Kabul Afghanistan. In a Statement issued spokesperson of Association Nasir Khuehami said that association appreciated prompt and quick response from External Affairs Ministry and J&K Lieutenant Governor adding that they have paid its valuable attention towards the Kashmiri Professors in Coordinating and facilitating them back to India.
He said Association Both the professors who were stranded among other Indian Nationals in Afghanistan and we brought matter into notice of LG Manoj Sinha, who immediately intervened in it and spoke to MoS MEA V Muraleedharan in this regard and their safe return was made possible. We expressed gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for considering our demand as first priority and taking this to External Affairs Ministry and coordinating with them in getting them back to India, khuehami said. Secretary of Association, Davood Ahmad Said, In the tough times, this decision is a welcome and appreciable step. This will free Kashmiri residents from anxiety depression and rejoice parents, we had demanded to Governor Administration to redress the issue and facilitate safe return of Kashmiris from Afghanistan, and this was made possible. The Swift and concentrate measures of LG Manoj Sinha are worth eologizing, he added.
