During the night time temperatures below freezing point has led to the freezing of water reservoirs in the morning as the water does not come out of the taps as they also freeze during the night.
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Srinagar was recorded at minus 6 degrees last night. In Jammu province, which is a warmer region than Kashmir, the cold wave is also showing its sharp edge with each passing day.
