Muscat

Nizwa

The city of Nizwa once served as capital of Oman. Today, the city is renowned for its grand fort constructed during the 17th century by Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya’ribi. One of the prime features of the Nizwa Fort is the gigantic cylindrical tower which looks incredible. The fort also houses a museum filled with artifacts collected from the 17th century.

Musandam Fjords

The Musandam Peninsula is among the most deserted but beautiful regions in Oman. For a long time, the place has served as a home to mountain villages and other coastal people. One can enjoy boat trips here and explore the coasts and peaks. The traditional Omani boats also are available.

Masirah Island

Bahla

Situated in Northern Oman, the city of Bahla is an oasis in the desert. The city is known for its incredible and historic fort, the Bahla Fort built in the 13th century.
